Kudos to Officer Larry Miller
He's
in the news again
Officer Miller is a nominee for the America's Most
Wanted All-Star from the Vermilion Police Department in Ohio. The
AMW honors the first responders who are All-Stars - the law enforcement
officers, fire fighters, EMTs and others who go above and beyond
the call of duty.
It's an honor to support Officer Miller for the work he has done
in the cyber crimes/computer forensics department.
Since March 2005, Larry has run the Vermilion Police Department's
internet task force which focuses on city-wide crimes against children.
To date, the task force has successfully arrested 18 predators.
For the last 2 consecutive years, Larry has received a Community
Service award from the city of Vermilion.
The Vermilion Police Department has dedicated a Wall
of Shame for people who were arrested for traveling to Vermilion
to have sexual relations with what they believed was an underage
female or male.
He has been featured in the news for his
outstanding work in cyber crime.
His most recent story in the news was just last month when he helped
catch two alleged Internet predators within 20 minutes of each other. Read

America could use more dedicated professionals like Officer Miller
to keep our children safe. Keep up the outstanding work.
Votings over and Officer Miller didn't win the AMW All-Star but
I'm sure he will still be out there protecting the kids and nabbing
Internet Predators for years to come. The WINNER will be announced
on the May 13th, 2006 AMW episode and/or on AMW.COM.
